COVID 19 Update

There have been lots of tears & hard decisions regarding our wedding and the COVID 19 guidelines/restrictions, but we have made the decision to call off original plans for the wedding to shift to a more socially responsible event. We will have 25 people from each side of our guest lists in attendance (immediate family and our bridal parties). Our top priority is to keep all of our family members and friends, but especially those who are in the “at risk” category, safe. This is the right thing to do, even though it is not what we planned or wanted for our wedding, but we are trying to make the best of it. We understand that these are uncertain times, and we do not want to pressure any of those who are now on the guest list to attend. If you don’t feel safe/comfortable in attending, have travel bans, or have mandatory quarantines for work, we promise our feelings will not be hurt because we understand the sacrifices that have to be made to keep yourself & others safe due to this virus. We plan on live streaming the ceremony (as long as we can get enough reception at camp), so if you can’t make it you’ll still be able to watch the ceremony. We love you all and we hope you understand the need for the change in plans 💕

From Softball Diamonds to Diamond Rings

Paige and Meg met when Paige joined Meg’s slowpitch softball team. Meg played left-center while Paige played right-center. Paige had to make the first move because Meg was oblivious to any signals Paige sent her way. Paige basically had to tell Meg what was up and their relationship grew from there. Meg used her pool to get Paige to come hang out for the first time. Then Paige used Kirby as an excuse for Meg to visit her place. Over the next couple of months, Paige and Meg became inseperable and fell in love. Paige took a job in Oneonta, NY right before Meg’s spring softball season started. The next few months were challenging to see each other, but it made the time they did spend together more special. In June, Meg moved to Oneonta with Paige! Paige and Meg got engaged in August, moved into their first apartment together and then a month later adopted Scout! “When you know, you know” rings true in Paige and Meg’s relationship. Things just seem to fit, and everything feels natural and right between them. Their love and support for one another is strong and unwavering. They bring out the best in each other. “It’s nice you know, having someone ... where you’d both do things for each other selflessly, no questions asked & no hidden agendas. Just pure love for one another.”
