Things To Do

Yellowstone National Park

This is the perfect time to go visit Yellowstone, although there will be crowds. Enter the park early. The South entrance is 2 hours away and the West entrance is 1 hour 45 minutes away.

Grand Teton National Park

WY

This is also a great time to visit GTNP. We are located one hour away from the Granite Canyon entrance. Keep an eye out for Corallorhiza orchids!

Jackson

Jackson, WY

This is a great place to eat nice food, walk around the square, and shop. Our favorite restaurants are Gather, Bin22, and the Silver Dollar (for music and dancing). Jackson will be super busy at this time, so do not go if you don't like crowds.

Harriman State Park

3489 Green Canyon Road, Island Park, ID 83429

One hour away from Driggs. This is a beautiful state park with easy, short hiking trails. Great opportunity for birding and botanizing.

Teton Valley Farmers Market

60 South Main Street, Driggs, ID 83422

Fridays from 9am-1pm.

Grand Targhee Resort

Alta, WY 83414

Mountain biking, scenic chair lifts, kid's fun zone, massages, etc.

Grand Teton Distillery

1755 Idaho 33, Driggs, ID 83422

Schedule a tasting and distillery tour!

Drake Creek Trail

~2mile out and back, straight up then straight down. Very beautiful views of the Tetons. Worth the strenuous hike up. Bring bear spray.

Pack Saddle Lake Trail

Great easy hike with a beautiful blue lake at the end. One mile up and one back. Great place for a picnic.

Pole Canyon Trailhead

Victor, ID 83455

Under 6 miles. Great views and great wildflowers. Bring bear spray.

Fly Fishing

The Teton river, located less than a mile from our home, is always a great spot to fish, however, it might have high flows at this time. Other great places to fish are the south fork of the Snake River and the Henry's Fork. There is typically a green drake hatch at the Henry's Fork at this time.
