Who: Us! and all of you! We're very excited to be having a small wedding of around 30 of our favorite and most loved people. What: A fun weekend of celebration, joy and love. We hope that everyone can take this time to celebrate with us, connect with each other, relax a little bit, and enjoy what our beautiful home has to offer. Where: Our home base for the weekend will be the 1824 House Inn + Barn in Waitsfield, VT. Nestled in the Green Mountains, this will serve as the central location for the weekend. Our ceremony and reception, as well as most meals and relaxing time will be spent here. We hope that you take advantage of the extra time to explore a bit! (See the "Things To Do" page for some starter ideas) When: The weekend of September 12th, 2025! We chose a Friday wedding with the intent of having more time to spend with everyone throughout the week and weekend, and to let the rest of the weekend be relaxing and stress free! We hope that you can arrive by Thursday afternoon, and can stay through Sunday to celebrate with us. How: I asked, she said yes. She asked, I said yes :) Why: Come on, you should know this one by now!

Our wedding will take place in the beautiful Vermont countryside in late summer, so we encourage attire that is both classy and comfortable for the season. Think semi-formal midi or maxi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or casual suits/sport jackets. Light, breathable fabrics are a great choice for potentially warm days, and a medium-weight jacket may be helpful for cooler evenings. The ceremony and cocktail party will be outside on a grassy field, so keep that in mind for shoe choices. Jewel tones/florals will vibe with our wedding aesthetic, if you need a starting point for some inspiration. Overall wear something you feel great in!

About the Venue

Indoor/Outdoor: The property has a hill with a beautiful view right in the backyard, as long as the weather cooperates, the ceremony will be held at the top of the hill with the mountains in the background. The ceremony location is about 500 ft from the inn itself, and there's about 200 ft of walking uphill, all in grass. The inn will provide a vehicle to drive guests up and down as needed. Should the weather be unideal, the ceremony will take place in the barn. The reception will take place in the barn, with firepits and lawn activities available outside. Parking Plenty of parking available directly on site. Dining Breakfast is included all mornings for guests staying at the Inn. We will provide breakfast for all other guests who would like to join us Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings at the Inn. Cocktail hour, dinner and desert will be provided at the Inn immediately after the ceremony.

September in Vermont is a beautiful time of year. It's on the early side of fall, so there is a chance we could see some leaves starting to change colors. On average, Vermont in September sees temperature highs in the 60º-70ºF, and lows in the 40º-50ºF. Early September generally sees and average of low to moderate cloud coverage and precipitation, so we'll keep our fingers crossed! You know what they say about the weather in VT: it's Winter when you wake up, Spring by 9am, Summer by 2pm, and Fall by dinnertime!
