FAQs

Question

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

Even though we love your little ones, we decided to limit the guest list to kids in our immediate family only. Unless your child is listed on your RSVP list, this is an adult only event. We hope that you can take this opportunity and use the evening as a date night!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unless your 'plus one' is specifically named on the premade RSVP list, we ask that you don't bring one. This is due to the venue capacity limit, table space, and wanting to keep the wedding as an intimate event with all of our closest family and friends.

Question

Can I bring my own drinks?

Answer

Our venue does not allow outside food or beverage on the premises. We will have a full, open bar stocked with 2 domestic beers, 2 wines, and a full liquor menu! For those who would rather not drink alcohol, we will also have juice, water, and soda available!

Question

What is on the menu?

Answer

We are so excited to work with Double H Barbecue as our caterer! They have a full menu planned including a baked potato bar, green beans, mac & cheese, salad, and much more for the main meal. We will also have a full charcuterie spread available to graze on during cocktail hour!

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, click the RSVP tab on this page, and select each person who plans to attend our special day!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 3:30pm. Please arrive 15/20 minutes prior to park and find your seat. If you are only planning on attending the reception, we estimate cocktail hour will begin around 4pm.

Question

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will take place at Buckland Farms in Delta, Ohio. The ceremony will be in the rustic 1899 barn across the road while the cocktail hour and reception will both be in the reception hall at the venue itself.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

At the end of the day, your presence means more to us than anything. We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! However, there is no formal dress code. Wear whatever you feel best in and that will keep you cool in the summer heat. We just kindly request that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride.

Question

I am coming from out of town, where should I stay?

Answer

Check out the "Travel" page on this site for more information on hotel room blocks.

Question

Is there parking on site?

Answer

For the ceremony, there is a designated stone parking lot located right outside the barn. For the reception, there is a large, partially paved lot to the left of the reception hall for guests to use.

Question

Can I take and post pictures?

Answer

Before and after the ceremony, you are welcome to take as many pictures as you desire. However, we ask that you respect our wish for an unplugged ceremony. We have an amazing photographer that we trust to get all of the best shots for us during that time. During cocktail hour and the reception, we highly encourage you to snap all of the pics and share all of the posts! We want to be able to look back and see all the fun that was had!

Question

What do I do if I can't make it?

Answer

We will be so sad that we can't celebrate our big day with you, but we understand that sometimes life gets in the way. Please RSVP "no" as soon as possible so that we are able to plan accordingly.
