Come celebrate with us at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens!

We met in the Pathologists’ Assistant program at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia in August of 2022. Our whole class pretty much instantly became very close friends, but we particularly immediately stuck together like glue. We became instant best friends and could always be found by each other's sides. Places we could be found either in a coffee shop studying, taking naps on the floor in Waitzer Hall, walking our dogs (my dogs at the time) around Ghent, or at each other's apartments for study or movie nights. By the end of the year, with the looming threat of being away from one another during clinical rotations, we both realized we had feelings that were stronger than just normal friendship. The love we had for each other ran deeper and stronger than we were prepared for. We decided to start a relationship, which began as long distance due to clinical rotations, which was a challenge that we overcame with many American Airlines miles utilized and many facetime dinner dates. After clinicals, we were lucky enough to find jobs close enough to each other to start our lives in Winterville, NC, where we’ve been since July of 2024. We’ve had many dates at our new favorite coffee shop, and have settled into a beautiful life together. Our lives are filled with laughter, adventures, lots of doggie cuddles, and an immense amount of love. We feel so lucky to get to have a never ending sleepover for the rest of our lives.
