For several years, we both worked at the same place. But work is fast paced and full of, well, work. It wasn't until we were sitting a few feet apart that we were able to slow down and get to know each other. At a friend's party, a night full of games, bonfires, drinks, and lots of laughter, it was clear that this was something that couldn't be passed up.

The first big trip we ever took together was to the Upper Peninsula. And the very tippy top at that, all the way up to Eagle Harbor. Both of us were nervous and convinced this trip was gonna go sideways. But a year and a half later and several more trips "up north", it's our special and favorite place to vacation. The path out to Hunter's Point in Copper Harbor is familiar to us, and at the end is a view of the whole harbor and Lake Superior. It was there that Kelly got down on one knee and asked Paige to spend forever with him.
