Question
When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Please RSVP with Justin & Paige by January 31st, 2025. Formal invitations will be sent in November 2024. Wedding Dinner will include a set soup course, along with guests' choice of a starter, entrée, and dessert. Please ensure to initial each course will each attendees' selections before mailing the card back to us. If you RSVP online, please share your meal selections with Justin and Paige via email or text. No pre-selections are needed for the Welcome Dinner, but we do ask that you kindly RSVP so we know to expect you!

What should I wear?
Answer
We encourage our guests wear Black Tie Optional attire; tea length or floor length dresses, dark suits or jackets, and kilts are all perfect!

What type of food will be served?
Answer
Eating is one of our favorite hobbies! We will have cocktails and canapes, a four-course meal, evening buffet (late night snacks, to the Americans) and dessert. If you are staying with us at Auchen Castle the evening before our wedding, breakfast is served from 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM.

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
We are hosting glass a of prosecco during the cocktail reception, dinner wine, and a champagne toast for each of our guests. A cash bar will be available for additional drinks throughout the wedding.

Will the Wedding be Indoors or Outdoors?
Answer
It's Scotland, so depends on the weather! We plan for an indoor ceremony but, weather permitting, will be able to host in Auchen Castle's beautiful gardens.

How do we get there, and where should we stay?
Answer
Limited lodging will be available at the venue, and additional accommodations are available in the nearby town of Moffat. If a room has been saved for you at Auchen Castle, you will receive an email from the hotel directly. We wish we could have everyone with us, but they're just aren't enough beds! Please note that if a room at Auchen Castle has been offered to you, and you are unable to attend or the castle simply isn't the best fit for you -- no hard feelings! Please simply decline with the hotel directly and Justin and Paige will continue to update the rooming list as needed. If you're flying across the Atlantic for us, first of all, thank you. Second, you'll want to fly into Glasgow or Edinburgh (connecting flights are available in Dublin, or London). Flights are currently on sale for our date, some airlines to consider are: Aerlingus, WestJet, United, or American Airlines. Justin and Paige will be flying in the week of the 16th, and flying out about a week after the wedding. If you'd like to coordinate travel times with them, please contact them directly.
