We met as freshman in college at San Diego State University, both of us attending a Young Life College group! Though unsure of the exact date we met each other, the date above is our first recorded photo together. We were at a Young Life Halloween party, where Paige dressed as Rapunzel and Josh dressed as a hot dog! We were just friends for many years. We spent a fair amount of time together in the library and campus Starbucks, as both our majors required a lot of studying!

The week of Thanksgiving during our junior year of college, our entire friend group was exposed to COVID after sharing homemade piña coladas. Josh and Paige were quarantined together on Thanksgiving, (staying away from a sick roommate Peter), and sparks began to fly! We then took a pre-planned trip to Boise, ID to visit Josh's family, and the rest is history.

Josh proposed during a long awaited trip to Italy! On our third day in Venice, we took a ferry ride across the water to an Island called San Giorgio Maggiore. We took a walk around the island and through a few museums. Coming around the corner to get back on the ferry, a photographer offered to take our photo. Josh got on one knee and the happy tears began to flow! We took pictures for an hour around the city and finished our night with a delicious Italian dinner (and a few aperol spritzes, of course!) It truly was the most magical day.
