The RSVP deadline is January 31st, 2020. No need to mail back an RSVP. Please do it here, on our website. If you’re having difficulties figuring it out or would prefer to just give us a call or a text, that works too!
We’re getting married at a campground. The ground will be soft and maybe a little muddy. Please DO NOT wear stiletto heels, as you will sink in to the ground! Super formal attire is not required! For example, a dress shirt and khakis, or a skirt and sweater would be lovely. The night does tend to get a bit cold, so you might want to bring something to throw on when the sun goes down! Really, our only requests are; no sweats or scrubs.
Weather in February in Washington can be cold and rainy. To ensure everyone is comfortable and having a good time, please remember to bring a warm jacket and potentially and umbrella.
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening.
We have a strict guest list with the venue. Therefore, unless otherwise stated, a plus one will not be able to be accommodated.
Yes! We have booked a retreat center for the weekend. There are cabins and we would love your company! Let us know if you will have any overnight stays!
We have plenty of heated cabins. Your summer camp dreams come true! Please let us know if you are interested in staying. Things to know if you are staying: - they are all twin-sized bunk beds - you will need to bring your own linens; they are not provided - we recommend a sleeping bag! - the cabins are all heated! - if staying multiple nights, you may want to bring your own booze and/or snacks - some have bathrooms in the cabin, others have a short walk to get to a bathroom - Don’t worry; everything is plumbed. There’s fresh water and flushing toilets and showers!
Absolutely! Let us know!
We have the entirety of the Millersylvania State Park Retreat center to ourselves! This includes a main lodge, an outdoor amphitheater, an old barn, private lake access, and 20 cabins! The ceremony will be taking place in the amphitheater. The reception will be in the main lodge.
We will be having a cocktail hour directly after the ceremony to make sure everything is prepped and ready and photos can be taken! We will provide drinks, feel free to roam around and mingle. After that we will be serving tacos from one of our favorite restaurants! The rest of the night will include plenty of drinks, food, games, dancing, and pictures!
You will be sorely missed! If you can not make it please let us know as soon as possible in our RSVP section so we can plan accordingly.
First head on over to Millersylvania State Park. Next, you’re going to follow signs for the “retreat center” or “ELC.” They switch between these two terms in the signs just to be extra confusing! When you see a one- way loop and a lake, look for the gate on the right side and follow the dirt road all the way down!
Arrive by 4 for cocktails, ceremony at 5!
Follow the signs! We won’t steer you wrong! Parking is completely free.
