We’re so excited you’re making the trip to Knoxville! Getting there is pretty easy and once you arrive, everything is pretty convenient. 🛫 Getting There *The closest airport is McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS), about 20 minutes from downtown Knoxville. From there, you can grab a rental car or uber to your hotel/ Airbnb. 🚗 Getting Around * We recommend renting a car (unless driving your own) if you plan to explore beyond downtown (especially if you want to see the mountains). * If you’re staying downtown: Most things are walkable! There’s a free trolley that runs through popular areas and Ubers/Lyfts are easy to find. 🏨 Where to Stay * There are great options depending on your vibe: Downtown Knoxville – close to everything (restaurants, bars, our wedding event) Old City – a little trendier, great nightlife Outside the city – quieter, more scenic stays
