Jimmy and Paige met the modern way: by swiping right on Hinge (swoon!) in 2020. For their first date Jimmy asked Paige to go get pizza at a local restaurant called Fixture. Jimmy and Paige went on several dates, but for some reason Paige stopped texting Jimmy after a few dates. Thankfully, Jimmy’s close friend Sara encouraged him to ask Paige back out, which she said yes to! For what they call their second first date, Jimmy took Paige to dinner at an Italian restaurant (her favorite), and they have been together ever since! A few of Jimmy and Paige’s favorite memories from their time together: recently taking a vacation to Germany, going to Scottsdale every year for her birthday, traveling to different cities for vacations and Marquette basketball, going on nightly walks with Bailey around their neighborhood, and Jimmy trying to teach Paige how to golf (trying being the key word!). Jimmy and Paige’s proposal embodied who they are together. Jimmy planned to propose to Paige on a Saturday in early June, and per usual Paige threw a wrench in his plans by making last minute plans to go meet up with friends for patio drinks. Jimmy, as usual, adjusted and decided he would propose on Sunday night. The next night, Paige was sitting upstairs on their rooftop deck when Jimmy came upstairs with their dog Bailey. Jimmy told Paige to look on Bailey’s collar, where he had placed the ring. Rings were presented, hugs and kisses were shared, and it was an amazing experience they shared as a family.
