Sometimes love isn't fireworks or a grand epiphany. Sometimes it's a quiet, gentle pull that you can't explain. Like your heart recognizing someone it already knew. We grew up in the same town and even traveled across the world together once on a school trip. It wasn't until years later that we really “met" through mutual friends, at the perfect time. When we found each other, everything felt different. Easy, natural, solid… Before we were even officially a couple, we took a spontaneous trip to Mexico. On that trip, we fell into something that felt familiar and safe, like we’d finally come home. Over a decade later, we’re still best friends, adventure partners, and each other’s safe place.
