So This is Love

To understand the story of Paige and Jake, you have to go back to the year 2018. The couple took a profound infatuation with each other during the summer of 2018, that involved multiple texting, snapchat, and phone conversations. Centered around their various shared hobbies: soccer, career, family, vacation, cats (this might come later to haunt Jake). Following Summer, Paige and Jake arrived at their college, Nova Southeastern University, for their soccer preseason. The couple made multiple attempts to spend time with each other in between training sessions and other team obligations. Often times, Paige would find herself driving to and from the college dorms to pick Jake up, since he was without a car. The couple could not get enough of one another, and their relationship officially began on September 16th, 2018. Paige and Jake enjoyed 2 years in college together, where their love continued to grow in multiple ways. Whether it was enjoying a nice meal, dessert, walk, movie, etc... it was simply fulfilling being in one another's presence. Paige, who experienced a senior year with the Covid pandemic, graduated a year before Jake, and moved back to Tampa, Florida. Jake still had one year remaining at Nova, and this is where they would go through their first year of a long distance relationship. The day-to-day activities were deeply missed, and FaceTime became the new consistent activity between the couple. Paige and Jake remained determined to stick together, because they knew this relationship meant everything to them. Once Jake graduated from Nova, he would move to Raleigh, North Carolina, a place where he had lived a few summers during college, to start his first job. This would extend their distance another 6 months. While Jake was in Raleigh beginning his professional career, Paige was also beginning her professional career in Tampa. It wasn't until May of 2022 when Jake finally was able to move to Tampa and be living near Paige for the first time in 1 and a half years. From this point on, the lovely couple went back to their old ways of spending quality time with each other. Coffee dates, working out, playing soccer, family time, etc... everything the couple had long awaited for, was finally coming together. Paige and Jake had many discussions around engagement, marriage, timelines, and Jake finally decided to pop the question on July 1, 2023. It was an amazing day that involved both Paige and Jake's family, and close friends. The couple would then take on their next biggest adventure, planning a wedding. Now, here we are. Paige and Jake are set to get married on March 29, 2025. Loyalty, Patience, Trust, Resilience, and most importantly, love, has got them to the point where they are today. They are both incredibly thankful for their closest friends and family who have been with them since the start of their relationship. Life will be complex, difficult, happy, sad, all the mixed emotions. But, one thing is for certain, these two will never forget how their love came to be.
