Jake and Paige have spend a lot of time hiking in the park! Here are some wonderful hike options. Highline Trail: Starting at Logan Pass Visitor Center. This is one of the most iconic hikes in the park. It is 11.8 miles round trip. If you are a more experienced hiker, this is highly recommended. Hidden Lake Overlook Trail: This is a shorter but very rewarding hike. It is 2.7 miles round trip. The trail begins at Logan pass. This is a very popular hike and one you’ll definitely want to check out. Avalanche Lake Trail: This is an easier hike, with some hills but mostly flat. It is 4.5 miles round trip. It is a great spot for a little picnic lunch!
Or as the locals call it Big Mountain. Big Mountain is the local ski resort in Whitefish, Montana. While skiing is not an option during the summer, there are still a lot of great options! During the summer you can go zip lining, take a gondola ride, hike the mountain, go huckleberry picking, or take a trip down the big mountain slide! If you are into mountain biking there are also great mountain biking trails!
City Beach is close to downtown Whitefish. If you want to take a quick swim, this is a great choice. This beach will be incredibly busy during the day. However during the evening it is a beautiful time to watch the sunset and take a night swim.
Bonsai Brewery is only open in the summer time. They have delicious beer! You can enjoy a drink on their patio, while listening to music and playing games!
The Palace has to be the worst but most iconic bar in downtown Whitefish. If you want a truly authentic Montana drinking experience, head to The Palace. Now once you have experienced The Palace and all its glory feel free to head to the other great bars! The Northern, The Bulldog, The Remington, and The Montana Tap House.
Looking for a great place to have breakfast? The Buffalo Cafe is a wonderful option! By far Paiges favorite place to eat. She recommends anything with syrup and sugar.
