Eugene and I went here with Eugene's parents the weekend he moved in with Paige. Eugene, a true dino lover, was truly in his element!
The Dallas World Aquarium
Paige and Eugene went here for their first dating anniversary. The penguins were a highlight, which will be no surprise to those who know Eugene.
Dallas Zoo
Eugene and Paige went here during Eugene's first visit to Dallas. The penguins were a highlight here as well, but feeding the giraffes comes pretty close!
Klyde Warren Park
This is a lovely park in the middle of Downtown Dallas! There are often food trucks there too.

Terry Black's Barbecue
Y'ALL. This barbeque is to die for. Eugene even says it's his favorite brisket, even including Kansas City brisket! It's huge with tons of tables inside and outside. It does have a dedicated parking lot but it's fairly small, so we'd recommend arriving early in the day soon after it opens or being prepared to find paid lot parking around Deep Ellum.
Bubba's Cooks Country
This fried chicken is to die for! When Eugene moved to live with Paige, this is where they and Eugene's family had dinner after a long day of driving.
Wabi House
This ramen is delicious! Paige will always recommend the tsukemen (only served during dinner) and Eugene loves spicy miso.
Hungry Belly
This sushi spot is super close to our apartment. The menu is HUGE. We love treating ourselves to some Belly Fries!

This is a cute rooftop bar and restaurant in a fun, lively part of town.
Truck Yard
This is a casual patio bar in a bustling part of town. We're not big bar people but this place is fun!
