After months of Emma hinting at a "perfect New England beach proposal," I, Paige, made plans to propose during the annual Cackovic family Nantucket trip. On a gloomy and rainy Sunday afternoon, we drove out to Sconset to walk along the bluff with cheese and crackers in hand. When we got to the Sankaty lighthouse, an oblivious Emma insisted on reading every single informational placard walking right by the secret photographer several times without noticing. I proposed with a custom champagne bottle and Emma said yes! She still says she had no idea despite making like 5 proposal jokes that very morning! We celebrated all week long! Since we couldn't do just one proposal... Exactly one year later, Paige finally decided on an engagement ring she liked. I, Emma, planned a picnic for Paige to celebrate our one year engagement anniversary. I surprised her with her very own proposal by asking her with her absolute favorite thing, a fresh baguette that I wrote "Marry Me?" on. We celebrated with cheese and crackers (again) and a trip to the beach!
