Getting to Ravello: Perched high above the Amalfi Coast in southern Italy, Ravello takes a little journey to get to-- but we promise it is worth it! The views are unlike any other and we can't wait for you to experience the charm of this fairytale of a town. Below, we’ve outlined the easiest ways to get there depending on where you choose to fly into. Need a hand planning your journey? We've got you covered!! Our wonderful planners are happy to help with accommodations, private cars, shuttles, or any travel questions. Flight

Naples (NAP)

Flying into Naples (NAP) Naples International Airport is the closest airport to Ravello and our recommended option when flights allow. Ravello is approximately 1–1½ hours from Naples, depending on traffic. From Naples Airport, we highly recommend arranging a private car service directly to Ravello. Public transportation is also available, though it requires multiple connections and may be less convenient with luggage. However, if that is your preferred way to travel and you need assistance our team can also help you figure that out. Worried about the winding Amalfi Coast roads? Our bride would like it officially noted that even she (shockingly!) did not get car sick in the private car! Though recommends bringing dramamine in case ;) RENTING A CAR: If you’re planning to rent a car from Naples and drive to Ravello, please keep in mind that Ravello is a largely pedestrian town and parking is very limited. Many hotels and accommodations do not have on-site parking, so be sure to confirm parking availability with your hotel before booking a rental car. If parking is offered, check whether it needs to be reserved in advance and if there is an additional daily fee. Once in Ravello, most of the town is best explored on foot, and a car will generally not be needed for getting around locally.

Flight

Rome (FCO)

Rome Fiumicino Airport often offers more direct and affordable international flight options. If you have the time, make a trip out of it and spend a few days in Rome before heading south... back where our love story began! ;) From FCO, take the Leonardo Express directly to Roma Termini, Rome’s main train station (~30 minutes). From there, take a high-speed train to Napoli Centrale (~1 hour 10 minutes). Once in Naples, we recommend having a private car service pre-arranged directly to Ravello, approximately 1–1½ hours depending on traffic.
