We're getting married!

Both Paige & David were encouraged to give online dating a go by friends & family (one was more strongly encouraged than the other😂). One swiped right and the other swiped left. David saw a stunning picture of Paige in a Nacho Libre costume and knew he had to shoot his shot. The two agreed to meet for coffee, not knowing what to expect. Paige thought the coffee date was doomed from the start when the strap to her jump suit snapped in the parking lot. But, all nerves and feelings of doom were put at ease almost immediately. David greeted her with a warm smile and great conversation. It went so well that they decided to have their first official date the following week. David took Paige to do one of his favorite hobbies, pinball. He blew Paige out of the park with his pinball skills and showed no mercy. Luckily for him, Paige can appreciate a competitive spirit. They decided for their next date to go to the aquarium. David had no idea he was signing up for a day full of Paige spitting out marine biology facts and slightly geeking out, he didn't mind though. David asked Paige to be his girlfriend at her favorite spot right in front of the manta rays. She gladly said yes. Months of getting to know one another, dating, and doing life together went by. They got to see each other at some of their highest and lowest points. And their love for the other only grew. David got to tag along on the Rathbun's yearly beach trip and had something big planned. Early on in the trip Paige and David had a date night. After a nice dinner they took a walk on a nearby pier. David had a cute set up with a UP themed "Adventure Book" telling our story for Paige to read. After Paige finished reading the book David got on one knee and asked her to be his wife. Another happy yes! When they got back to the airbnb Paige's family was waiting excitedly and celebrated together. They couldn't be more excited to become husband and wife and can't wait to see what God has in store for them!
