Dave and Paige had met a few times at work functions and had really funny banter. Dave was stopped in his tracks when Paige wore a pink business dress at a conference in Atlanta. He heard some funny stories and followed her on instagram when he was at the Army Navy Game with her team in Baltimore. They reconvened on the dance floor in Jamaica in 2017 - he walked her home and they talked for hours with their feet in the pool. Dave won a bunch of awards the next day and wouldn't make eye contact with Paige in the front row. After he confirmed with his friends that the prior night he had made a love connection, he spent the whole trip with Paige. They exchanged a heart shaped pizza and roses long distance for Valentines day when they got back, finally exchanged phone numbers, and re-convened in San Francisco a week later where they were both serendipitously headed on separate trips. Then they met in Philadelphia, Las Vegas, Indiana, Seattle, Aruba, San Diego, St Louis, Baltimore, Chicago, and elsewhere, before Dave relocated to Denver in October 2018. Dave and Paige got engaged four months later at Sloan's Lake by their house, and plan to live happily ever after wherever they are.
