Our first date was finally after almost a month of back and forth communicating on the Facebook dating app and texting to lock down a date. So we (100% me, Paige, picking the location) set on The Pasta Tree in Milwaukee on Farwell Ave. David and I shared looking at the menu and he decided on a spaghetti dish of some sort. The server gave David a spoon on his plate of spaghetti, and he asked me very confused: “what’s the spoon for?” After that, I knew he was the one…that I would be there to guide him through life together. May 2021 David and I decided to make the jump and move in together and started our life together in West Allis. (Fun fact: Paige was born in West Allis) David picked one of my most favorite days of the year to pop the big question. Our trick or treat party 2023. We have this party every Halloween since moving into our duplex. He was almost the one to blow his own surprise by acting a little skittish the night before. But the end result was I was completely shocked and over the moon to say YES! David and I connect on so many different things we both enjoyed before meeting each other, and now can enjoy them even more together. Our extreme love for watching Packer games, in our living room or where ever. Being with our families is something him and I really take priority in both our lives. Getting brunch together or when David makes me breakfast in bed (close second favorite to going to brunch). Framily parties and trips, grabbing drinks together, or just laying in bed together on Sundays eating (unhealthy) snacks all day. Not many people can say they truly have so much fun together as much as we do, whatever we are doing. Even grocery shopping! I cannot honestly recall a day in our relationship these past over 5 years that didn’t include a laugh, or a lot of them. Not everyday has been all rainbows, but we are both so incredibly lucky to have found each other in this crazy world. The ying to my yang. I can’t wait to marry this amazing man. ♥️
