Paige and Collin first met in January of 2010, when they were both in 7th grade! It was Collin’s first day at Mount Mourne IB School, where many of his middle school friends transferred after 6th grade, and he happened to be sitting with them in Paige’s “spot.” Unbeknownst to Paige, she had also gotten close with Collin’s friends during that school year, so when she marched up to this stranger to demand her seat back, her friends happily exclaimed, “Paige, this is our friend, Collin from Lakeshore Middle!” It wouldn’t be for another two years however when they became best friends and started dating! After graduating high school together, they went off to different schools less than 2 hours from each other. When Collin was offered a job after college, the two of them moved to Richmond, VA to start their new life together! They currently live in Midlothian, VA with their two wonderful cats: Letty and Linus.

On Halloween, we were both exhausted after hosting an epic Tim Burton dinner party the night before, so we abandoned our plans of visiting the Science Museum (where Collin was originally going to propose) and attending a late night concert. Instead, we had a night at home filled with video games, Chipotle, and my favorite movie: The Nightmare Before Christmas. After the movie ended, while dressed as Sally and Jack, Collin got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. After asking him multiple times if this was real and not a dream, I said yes!
