Once upon a time a young, beautiful woman, interested in continuing her education, decided to travel to a far away land. With a sense of adventure, a curious mind, and a brave spirit she set off to learn, grow, and little did she know, meet the love of her life. In this new land she studied, explored, and formed life long friendships. Unfortunately the young woman’s trip was cut short due to a terrible pandemic plaguing the world. The young woman was devastated and heartbroken by this tragic turn of events. After she returned home she plunged into a deep sadness, one that she had convinced herself she would never get out of, but then something magical happened. The young woman received a message from a man of this far away land whom she had brief communication with before being sent home (AKA Tinder). Although they had never had the chance to meet in person his messages brought her something she wasn’t sure she would ever feel again, joy. These small messages made her laugh and brought her moments of happiness in the midst of a global pandemic and eased her sadness from leaving the far off land she had grown to love. As more time passed the messages became more frequent. One snowy December night the mysterious man requested to speak to the young woman through a wonderful technological advance known by many as a phone call. Once the young woman heard this man’s voice she felt an instant pull towards him, and attraction unlike anything she had ever experienced before. Through the years the two kept up their communication and a friendship blossomed between the two. Though they were just friends at the time the woman couldn’t ignore the way her heart skipped a beat when his name popped up on her phone, the flutter in her stomach when she heard his voice answer the phone “hello beautiful”, or the way she couldn’t stop smiling after their conversations. As their friendship began to grow over months and years, so did the attraction toward each other and the pair had to make a decision. Would they continue a friendship through technology or would they see if there was truly something more between them? The young woman presented this to the mysterious man and he agreed to travel to her land to meet her in person for the first time. The weeks leading up to this encounter the woman was a mess of nerves but she was also filled with excitement. The man and she would speak almost everyday about how much they were looking forward to seeing each other. The day finally arrived and the moment the woman laid eyes on the man she felt nothing short of adoration and amazement. She walked up to the man and wrapped her arms around him in an embrace.
