Question

Will there be COVID Safety precautions?

Answer

Yes! We certainly, and enthusiastically, encourage our guests to get their COVID vaccinations. However, we do recognize this is a personal choice. Given the nature of some of our loved ones' health who are severely immunocompromised, we ask that if you choose to not be vaccinated by May 2022 that you receive a negative COVID test within 48 hours prior to the wedding celebration. There are plenty of locations in the Metro Detroit area that offer same day testing. We also ask that if this is not possible, to please wear a mask at our wedding. This is our celebration of love and we want to protect and cherish all of our guests and keep their health and safety as our top priority.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We politely ask that if a guest is not included on your invitation, that you do not bring one. We have a smaller venue and our guest count is reflected accordingly.

How can I park?

Answer

We will have complimentary valet parking for evening of the wedding. Please utilize the Farmer Street entrance and the valet available at the Shinola private event space entrance. For those staying overnight at the Shinola Hotel please utilize the main valet parking located at the front of the hotel on Woodward avenue.

What is the attire?

We ask that you dress to impress! Cocktail wear is highly encouraged.

What if I have a food allergy?

Answer

All our main course food options will be gluten free! However, if you have other allergens, please let us know on the RSVP card received in the invitation. There will be options for vegans, vegetarians, dairy free and others!

What about the kiddos?!

Answer

We certainly love your children but, we also want the parents to have a night off! Find a babysitter and come ready to enjoy an evening off.
