Hi! My name is Lucy! I’ve been close to Auntie Pay Pay and Uncle Carl my whole life. When I was still in Mommy’s tummy, Auntie Pay Pay even felt me hiccup for the very first time! We were super close before I was even born! She talked to me a LOT through mommy’s tummy. She’s pretty much one of the coolest people I know. Uncle Carl was the first one I ever sat beside of to play the piano with! He plays sooo beautifully. Mommy says she prays I can play like him one day! Uncle Carl is even cooler now that he’s marrying my Auntie Pay Pay! Hopefully I’ll get most of the petals to land where they’re supposed to on the aisle, but who knows! I’m going to be so excited they’re getting married I might just dance my way down the aisle!

Hey there! My name is Matt and I’ve been friends with Carlos since 2015! Before I met Carlos, I was obsessed with this dude. Way before I met him, I would just be in awe of his gifts and talents and tried to get him to teach me how to be a photographer and of course he ignored me and made me learn myself. But anyways, now I’m lucky enough to be one of his best friends. He’s got a heart and soul that is magnetic and everyone who meets him wants to be his friend. Carlos is a real blessing to me and has been there for me through some tough seasons of life. We’ve photographed some really cool events together, written some incredible songs together, laughed together, and cried together. I love to give this dude a hard time like I do all my friends, but the reality is there’s nobody out there quite like him! I’m thankful to be standing beside him on his wedding day!!!

Paige and I met in Ministry School back in August of 2019 where we selected the same internship in Bayside Midtown’s Kids Ministry. Let’s just say it’s a good thing I get a speech at this shindig, because I have many years of experience and friendship to rave about this girl. Don’t worry Paige, you won’t be haunted by it ;) From long nights as interns, planning Trunk-or-Treat, Boba & Dutch runs, to standing side by side loving and pouring into students, Paige has been one of the biggest blessings in my life. The Lord—and our mutual love for Taylor Swift—ultimately made us besties. She inspires me deeply, and I’m so honored and proud to stand beside her as she and Carlos enter into the covenant of marriage, rooted in the Lord.

I’m truly honored to stand by Carlos’ side as he begins this new chapter with Paige. Over the years, we’ve led worship together, shared meals and laughed at stupid things more times than I can count, and every moment has been a gift. Carlos is not only one of my dear friends, he’s also my favorite piano player in the world. One of my favorite things about him is his ability to eat frozen burritos for breakfast like it’s a gourmet meal. I’m hopeful that with Paige’s influence, she will help him grow a palate that expands beyond Chipotle, Chick-fil-A, and Buffalo Wild Wings. Watching him promise to love and care for Paige forever is a joy and privilege I’ll never forget.

My friendship with paige has quite literally been a Godsend. i’ve known carlos through my husband matt for a couple years now, so when carlos started dating paige i was so hoping we would become besties !! and oh how we have. we started to get close at a time when both of us were searching for friends & i couldn’t be happier God sent me her ! getting matcha, shopping for plants, making window beads (& me begging for pics of her cat luna :,)) , every moment spent with her is like hanging with a friend i’ve known since childhood. i’m absolutely HONORED to be chosen as a bridesmaid & i truly hope i can help make this special day as amazing for her as possible !!!

Paige and I met through church, but our friendship really took off thanks to a mutual obsession with Taylor Swift (we’ve basically been in our Reputation era ever since). We’ve served in ministry together, bonded over endless Instagram reels, and had some of our best conversations between volunteering and laughing till we cry. Carlos and I quickly clicked over our shared love for The Bachelor- yes, we have strong opinions and yes, we’re not afraid to share them. But honestly, the way Paige and Carlos love on my two kiddos? It’s the kind of love that’s golden. I couldn’t be more excited to stand beside them as they begin their forever—this love story is better than any song!

Hey! My name is Isaac and I am one of Carlos’ groomsmen! I’m so honored to stand beside Carlos on his big day. Over the years, we’ve shared the stage countless times, and he is hand’s down my all-time favorite piano player. The way he plays (yes, even the extreme back bends while doing it) is enough to make even angels tear up! Beyond music, Carlos is my go-to guy for Chipotle runs, Buffalo Wild Wings cravings, and some of the most entertaining road trips I’ve ever been on. Whether we’re competing at putt-putt or just hanging out, he always brings joy, laughter, and a little bit of chaos in the best way. Watching the way he loves Paige is something special. His dedication to her is beautiful to witness… though Paige, if you can still be that dedicated after a few months of hearing him snore every night, you deserve an award. Love you both—can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with you!

I met Paige about a year and a half ago at the Cove, and we instantly clicked over our love for Jesus (and Taylor Swift!). She’s been such a faithful, steadfast friend - always down for coffee, a good dinner, escape rooms, celebrating anything and everything both big and small, gushing over Taylor Swift Easter eggs,worship nights, or just showing up in support of your own that you’re leading at. After our first group hang at Bruster’s, I told Daniel, “I wonder if Paige and Carlos would date?” - and here we are! It’s been such a joy and honor to witness their love story unfold before they even knew it would happen.

Hi, I’m Anthony! If you don’t know me, I am a worship leader and engineer, and I currently live in Buffalo, New York. Carlos and I met four years ago leading worship together at The Cove Church in Mooresville, North Carolina (my hometown). Little did I know, I had found who would be one of the most spiritually essential friends I would ever have. Over the years we have encouraged each other through the many challenges life had thrown at us, and we have celebrated life, friendship, and the Lord’s blessings over some great food. I am ever grateful for the phone calls, Sunday morning worship leading, and time spent together during significant life events. I am a better person and follower of Christ thanks to this devoted man of God, and I am excited to see what he and Paige will do together in this next stage of their lives with God at the center of it all.

Hi! I’m Kensley Blalock, and I’m incredibly honored to stand beside Paige and Carlos (affectionately known in our home as “Auntie Pay Pay” and “Uncle Carl”) on their wedding day! When Paige first moved to North Carolina to join the team at The Cove’s Denver campus, I was thrilled to welcome another woman to our staff. What I didn’t realize at the time was that I’d also be gaining one of my dearest friends—someone who would become family. We’ve shared so many special moments through the years, but I know the most meaningful one will be October 24th as she marries her best friend. I’ve had the joy of having a front row seat to Paige and Carlos’ relationship! It didn’t take long to see they were absolutely meant for each other. Their shared heart for ministry, Carlos’s creative spirit, Paige’s leadership, and their deep love for Jesus make them a powerful team. Together, they reflect the heart of Christ - serving others, showing up, and praying faithfully for the people they love. C.S. Lewis once said, “Love is not affectionate feeling, but a steady wish for the loved person's ultimate good.” That kind of love is exactly what Paige and Carlos share. They are each other’s greatest champion, loudest cheerleader, and most faithful encourager. I tell them often-I love your love! And I can’t wait to celebrate it, not just on October 24th, but for all the years to come!
