Below are some recommended travel/stay options for out-of-towners. Please take a look and give Paige and Caddy a shout with specific questions.
Here are a couple options for getting to MV if you're flying into Boston... Option 1- Uber from Logan to either Steamship Authority or Island Queen ferries. Island Queen ferry is easier, but less frequent than Steamship Authority. Once on island, you can either walk to your accommodations or take a cab. Plenty of cabs at ferry port. This is probably the easiest of the four options. Option 2- take a bus to Steamship Authority ferry. Most cost effective option, but tied to a bus schedule. Option 3- Rent a car and drive to Steamship Authority. Steamship is the only car ferry servicing MV. If you plan to do this option, be sure to make a car reservations for your ferry well in advance (months). Log onto Steamship Authority website to make a car reservation. Option 4- Fly from Boston to MV. Usually pricey, but cuts down travel time significantly.
