There are many affordable and nice home rentals in Seattle. This would be a great option for groups who want to stay together and have their own space or for those who want to avoid higher hotel costs due to the MLB All Star Game taking place in Seattle on July 11. Want to stay near the venue? Look for places in West Seattle near Lincoln Park or Alki Beach. Want to stay near Pike Place Market? Look for places in Downtown Seattle or Capitol Hill. This is a short walk away from the West Seattle Water Taxi and about 2 miles from Elsom Cellars, where the welcome event will be on Friday evening. Want to stay in our favorite neighborhoods (where we live)? Look for places in Ballard, Greenlake, and Fremont. Note that these neighborhoods are a bit further away from the venues, but are only a 15-20 min drive to Salty's/Elsom Cellars and rideshare services are readily available in the area. There are many great places to stay in Seattle. If you are unsure about a location, just ask us!

Transportation

If you're staying near Downtown Seattle or South Lake Union, the Seattle Water Taxi is a great option to get to West Seattle. The Water Taxi pick up near Pier 50 on Alaskan Way downtown and drops off in West Seattle next to Salty's on Alki. It is a 5-10 minute walk from the drop of to the entrance of Salty's. The link light rail can be utilized to get to/from the airport, and can also be used to get to Elsom Cellars on Friday evening. Elsom Cellars is about a 10 minute walk from the SODO light rail station. Ubers/Lyft/Rideshare services are another great option for getting around the city. There is always a car just a few minutes away.
