We were both in the same environmental science class in high school completely unaware of either of high school crushes on each other. That was until our mutual friend lily set us up on a few study dates, movie dates and swim meet events. We quickly went from lab partners to life partners in fell swoop and it has been love ever since.
We decided to check off traveling on our bucket list and Paige had always wanted to visit her Irish heritage. So we booked our trip and packed our bags to spend one week in Ireland. On our six year anniversary we took a day trip to the Cliffs of Mohr to take in the breathtaking views that Ireland has to offer. We trecked next to the edges of the cliffs on a freshly rain on and muddy dirt trail with only our hands as support from slipping off the edge. We stopped a few minutes later to have two girls take our pictures where Alan knelt down in the mud and popped the question. Paige cried and said yes, and the girl taking our photo cried and said "she's not your girlfriend anymore" and boy was she right.
