We have made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding celebration on May 30 until further notice. The health (physical and mental) and safety of our friends and family is of utmost importance to us, and we do not feel comfortable proceeding with hosting a large gathering that will put that at risk. We have decided to have a private ceremony on May 30 instead. As much as we would love to share this with our family and friends, we have decided it is important to us to get married on the original day we chose. We will instead be hosting a celebration of our marriage at a later date. Over the coming months, we will carefully select a new date that we are confident will be safe for everyone and will send out new invitations at that time. We are excited to celebrate our marriage with our loved ones. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions. Thank you for your understanding, patience, and support during this time.
Yes! We are registered at Target and Amazon. It is entirely up to our guests if they would like to mail us a gift or honeymoon contribution, or if they would like to wait until our wedding celebration (to be scheduled at a later date) to do so. Although our wedding celebration and honeymoon is temporarily postponed, there are a number of things we are in need of while we transition into our first home together as well as funds for our future honeymoon. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions.
Over the coming months, we will monitor the situation with the virus and carefully select a new date on which to hold our wedding celebration with our family and friends. We will send out new invitations to everyone at that time. Because we have many family and friends who would be traveling from out of state, we will be sure to send invitations with new dates with plenty of time to reschedule travel arrangements and ensure everybody can be there to celebrate with us.
