We're getting married!

Paige and Drake’s love story officially began in middle school in 2010, but Paige had a crush on Drake since elementary school, where she would have dreams about holding hands together on the swing set. When they started dating, they would go on dates to the movies, walk to the Dari Ripple, raft down the Kishwaukee river, and go to each other’s baseball/softball games. In high school, they had classes together and were each other’s Homecoming and Prom dates. In 2016, Paige went to college at NIU for Nursing, and Drake went to Illinois for Aerospace Engineering. Even though they were a few hours apart, they made trips once or twice a month to see each other. They made sure to always stop for burritos as Dos Reales when Paige came to visit. As avid adventurers, Paige and Drake always made time to go on vacations, and they keep a map of all the states they’ve been to together. Some of their favorite places are Charleston SC, Sedona AZ, and Maui HI. After college, they graduated and moved to Texas in 2021 to start their careers. In Texas, Paige and Drake’s relationship has grown stronger and stronger. With their dog, Jack, they’ve continued to go on adventures and make countless memories, along with developing a newfound love for Texas BBQ. As the years went on, they’ve made friends, progressed in their careers, and most recently bought their first home together. In Sept 2023, Drake decided it was finally time to stop waiting around, and he proposed to Paige at the top of the Haleakalā Volcano in Maui. They are both excited to start a married life together and see what the next chapter holds.
