We're Getting Married

Cesar and Paige met at work, a little risky given they'd have to interact with each-other if things didn't work out. Paige was prepared to quit her job and run from embarrassment after all she started flirting with him. Cesar on the other hand was completely oblivious until one day he told his family I think my coworker is flirting with me, they proceeded to tell him "She is probably just being nice" hahaha! But the only reason you're reading this story now is because they are getting married. So here goes Our Story... Cesar and I met at work in November of 2020, if you don't remember we were in a pandemic! This meant we worked mostly remote, although we would see each other weekly in team meetings on Zoom it took another 4 months for our paths to cross. On Tuesday March 9th, 2021 we opened our emails to see we would be consulting on a case together, and where asked to hop on a 3 way call to best approach this case. So we talked, consulted, and hung up. Later the same day I was told I would not be handling this case any further, he would. I called him apologized for the extra work and told him to keep me updated. Just 1 work call changed the course of our lives, if you told us then we were speaking to my future husband or his future wife we wouldn't believe it. We talked throughout the course of March mostly about work, by this time I was dropping subtle hints of interest that he was not reciprocating. Hahaha! By April our work calls turned into after hours calls. We'd talking about everything and anything, I'd pace back and forth in my bedroom hoping the call could go on forever. We'd hang up and I'd hope he'd text me after, soon enough he would. By April 26th, 2021 we went on our first date, this date lasted 7 hours! We both weren't ready for it to end, we went for lunch then walked the mall, we looked at furniture... I think at this point we both knew this was different, as if we had been doing this for years, almost a natural response to being in each others presence. By May 16th 2021, he asked me to be his girlfriend. Although he was told, by ME not to ask me to be is girlfriend for 3 months, I just couldn't wait...I mean what was he waiting for? Haha! At this point I knew I had found my person, never being a believer of "when you know, you know" I knew, AND here we are!!! From here on out the last 2 years have been adventurous, challenging, frustrating, exciting, safe, warm, and filled with love. We aren't perfect but we are committed!
