Duty brought Joe and Paige to Tucson, but together they made the desert their home. Joe was assigned to Davis Monthan to start his career as a Russian linguist. A few years later, Paige moved to Green Valley, where her grandparents' home was in need of some TLC. Though neither were Arizona natives, they both fell in love with the desert wildlife, unique flora, and unparalleled stargazing. Their best memories include hiking, gardening, and counting shooting stars at their super-secret desert spot. When they're not reconnecting with nature, the bride and groom relish a night in. Joe frequently exclaims "what are we even doing?!" after tasting a home cooked meal better than anything they could find from local restaurants. As one would expect when a fantasy nerd gets with a movie buff, they put a lot of miles on their home theater system. Through a lens so analytical they would bore Siskel & Ebert, Paige and Joe once set a new record, pausing the movie just 4 seconds in to launch their 10 minute rant. Most importantly, what unites the couple is their shared value for life in all forms and drive to understand the world around them.
