Paige and Derek first met in 2008 when Paige needed her Junior Prom date. Her friend, Rachel Gill, knew Derek in passing. Out of the blue, Rachel asked Derek to be Paige's prom date and they have been together ever since. From undergraduate degrees and graduate degrees in Arizona through veterinary school in Colorado, they stuck together through it all. Then in December 2017, the weekend after moving into their new house, Paige and Derek went to Las Vegas, Nevada to celebrate their nephew Dominic's 21st birthday. In the Paris Effel tower, amongst beef wellington and Paige's first souffle, Derek surprised Paige and finally popped the question! They're so excited to start the next phase of their lives together and can't wait to celebrate with you in August!
