Question

What is the attire?

Answer

Cocktail attire is requested. The ceremony will take place outside (weather pending), so please plan accordingly and consider bringing a jacket or a light layer.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! A Shuttle from the Logan will be departing for the College of Physicians at 4:15 pm & 4:55 PM. The shuttle will be located Assembly side entrance of the hotel. Return shuttles from the reception to the hotel will be 10:45, 11:30, and 12:15.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There will be a block of hotel rooms at the Logan Hotel. Please see the travel tab for additional details.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is street parking with meters. Additionally, next to the museum there is a lot that you can pay for. There are a few parking garages in the area.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Sunday morning the parents of bride will be hosting a brunch at the Logan Hotel. Everyone is welcome to join, please rsvp with your invitation.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will be in the outdoor garden at the College of Physicians. (Crossing our fingers for beautiful weather, if there is rain, the ceremony will take place indoors.) Immediately following the ceremony will be cocktail hour. During cocktail hour you will be able to browse the Mutter Museum. Reception to follow.

What is the Mutter Museum?

Answer

It is a museum of medical oddities. It contains a collection of anatomical and pathological specimens, wax models, and antique medical equipment. You will be able to walk through and view the museum during cocktail hour. Just a quick note! Photography or videography of the human remains collection is not allowed.

What happens if I get squeamish with anything medical?

Answer

No worries! Those who wish to participate can view the museum. If viewing the museum is not of interest to you or the thought of it makes your stomach do back flips, you don’t have to participate.
