Lauren and Andrew love this winery! The tastings are moderately priced. We suggest you request to be seated in the garden area. Be sure to go inside the house and ask your educator about the meaning behind the decor!
This is another one of Lauren's and Andrew's favorites. This winery is moderately priced and offers a relaxed approach to tasting. We suggest you request to sit outside on their patio.
This vineyard is arguably one of the most beautiful vineyards in Napa. Enjoy their elegant wines in a beautiful garden overlooking Oakville, California. The tasting fees and bottle prices run on the steeper side but it's worth every penny.
Orin Swift offers a cool, edgier tasting room. This tasting room offers a laid back, self-paced experience. Be sure to look up or ask your wine educator about Orin Swift's history!
ZD Wines offers an approachable, beautiful entry to California wines. The tasting is moderately priced and you'll enjoy lighter wines in a modern tasting room that overlooks the vineyards. You won't be disappointed.
If you are looking for a breathtaking ambiance while you sip earthy, bold Napa cabernets, then look no farther than Spring Mountain. Lauren and Andrew were members here and were blown away by the beauty of the property and delicious wine. The tasting fees and bottle prices are on the pricier end.
Shoutout to Lauren's Bridesmaid Becca for encouraging her to visit CADE. CADE is a beautiful estate perched upon the side of Howell Mountain overlooking the valley. It's quiet, quaint, breathtaking, and the wines are exquisite. The tasting fee here will be pricier, but we promise that it's worth it! CADE allows only a handful of people up to the estate per day, so your experience will be intimate and personal.
The Mecca of Napa Valley. Opus has an elegant, robust reputation and their wines live up to the hype. If you want to taste some beautiful cabernets ranging in vintages, this is your place. The tasting fees and bottles are very expensive, but definitely worth it.
HALL holds a special place in Lauren's & Andrew's hearts. HALL has a delicious array of bold, distinct wines. The tastings fees and bottle prices are more reasonably priced for Napa. The only downside is this vineyard is a bit more commercialized. That being said, it's a good stop if you're a novice or breaking into the industry!
This is a staple to Napa Valley. Be sure to book a tour so you can learn about the Mondavi family history!
Do you prefer bubbles? Then head to Domaine Chandon. You won't be disappointed by the bubbles, ambiance, or the view!
Yet another staple of Napa Valley and a favorite of Lauren's family. Caymus offers rich, tannic red wines, focusing on cabernets.
Hands down the best restaurant in Napa Valley. It's a far drive from the Meritage hotel but it's worth it. Order the mozzarella as an appetizer (it's not on the menu!)
One of our favorites for a lunch or a dinner. This restaurant offers delicious farm-to-table cuisine with a casual, trendy approach. Be sure to request to sit on their patio!
One of our favorites for lunch or dinner! You may catch Lauren's dad here--he loves this restaurant. If you like pork chops, this is where you should order it!
Enjoy a stroll in the park in between stops!
Check out V Sattui for a picnic lunch. It's a wonderful market full of sandwiches, salads, meats, cheeses, and fresh bread. Grab your lunch, a bottle of their chardonnay, a baguette, and some truffle chips and enjoy your picnic! P.S. This is a popular place for tastings! It's not our favorite wine but if you are a novice or looking for an inexpensive tasting to throw into your day, this is a solid option.
Delicious selection of wines and great ambiance!
This grocery store has everything you need for a perfect mid-day snack or lunch in between tastings. Similar to V. Sattui, it has plenty of meats, cheeses, pizzas, sandwiches, salads, you name it. They also have a large array of niche Napa wines, including some on tap.
This is a Paglini family favorite. This is a more laid back American menu.
We've heard awesome things about this olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting!
We have rented these e-bikes and had the best day with our friends. They offer guided tours through beautiful trails that run along the vineyards. A bonus: the e-bikes take care of the hard work for you. We highly recommend!
