What is a White Wedding vs Traditional Wedding?

The White Wedding is the wedding that is typical to a wedding you would see in America. The Traditional Wedding is call "The Engagement." This wedding follows the tradition of a festive Ghanian Wedding. The attire, ceremony and food will showcase the ways of a Ghanian celebration.

How will the weather be during this time period?

Answer

During our stay, we will be coming on the end of rainy season. So expect some rain, expect some heat and bring comfortable clothes and some shoes you don't mind wearing in the rain during free time outside the ceremonies. Oh and bring an umbrella or rain jacket too.

What is the best way to get around during our stay?

Answer

Ride-share apps like Uber or Bolt. There is the option to hire a personal driver with with rates from $80/day and up.

Do I need a Visa to travel to Ghana?

Answer

You will need a Visa. It's best to complete the Visa process 30-60 before you departure as the Visa application will require all the details of your itinerary. We will discuss the Visa process during the Zoom meeting in March.
