Wedding Party

McKenna Skipper

Maid of Honor

McKenna and Anne were neighbors freshman year of college. They had so much in common that they decided to live together for the remaining 3 years at Clemson. After graduation, the two moved to different cities but called each other so often it felt like they still lived together! McKenna and Anne do most things together and consult with each other on anything from home buying and wedding dress shopping to what outfit they are going to wear that day. They love to go on girls trips together and explore new cities. Many people think they are sisters when they walk down the street together. They may not be sisters by blood, but they are definitely sisters at heart!

Sam Bunce

Best Man

Sam and John have been best friends since high school, where they met as members of the school band. Rides home from school and a few games of Super Smash Bros. was all it took to start this friendship. After high school, both attended college at Clemson University where they tailgated for football games, played intramural sports, watched almost every new Marvel and Star Wars movie in the theater, and lived together for 3 years. Although currently living a couple hours apart and in separate states, nothing can break their brotherly bond of 10+ years.

Jess Murden

Maid of Honor

Jess and Anne have been together through every stage in life. They have been close since the 1st grade (almost 20 years!). They had been in the same schools, same sports teams, and same city until college graduation. They would be the ones in the back of the class cackling over some whispered joke between them, and their teachers had no clue what to do with them. The most surreal moment for these two was when Jess moved to St Kitts for vet school, and they couldn't just meet up in person to catch up. However, the shenanigans continued over Zoom even with the bad wifi, and now, they will both be each other's maid of honor for their weddings!

Will Doran

Groomsman

Will and John met while living on the same hall of the dormitory during their freshman year of college (shout out 5th floor Lever, 2013 - 2014). Late night studying, intramural sports, trips to downtown Clemson, and Sunday morning Bojangles are a few key ingredients to this friendship.

Elizabeth Schuler

Bridesmaid

Elizabeth and Anne met during the summer of 2017 during their internship with AIG. They were randomly assigned as roommates and had the best time together that summer. When they returned to school the following semester, they were inseparable. To get to know each other, Anne would bring pop tarts as an offering when they would hang out on the couch, and now it has become tradition to have pop tarts when the two see each other. After graduation, Elizabeth and Anne moved to different cities but that did not stop the girl time. They have phone calls that last no shorter than 3 hours!

Cameron Sabin

Groomsman

Cameron met John and became friends back in high school while working for the local Harris Teeter grocery store after school and on weekends. They both attended Clemson University and lived together for 3 years where they truly became great friends. If scanning and bagging groceries ever becomes an Olympic sport, you can count on these 2 teaming up and taking home the gold. Wouldn't that be PLU 4011? John was a groomsman in Cameron's wedding in June, 2019.

Tori Cockrell

Bridesmaid

Tori and Anne met at their summertime job in high school. They both chose to go to Clemson and ended up living on the same hall in their dorm and had the best time together. They were also both business majors and proved that they could run a business together as a powerful female pair. After graduation, they landed in Charlotte, NC where they played tennis, watched the latest, heart stopping scary movies, and geeked out over their favorite books. When John would visit Anne in Charlotte, Tori and John had such a competitive streak that tennis and game night became all out war. Tori and John also developed a great friendship that makes getting together that much more fun. Although they are now in different cities, they still share the same hobbies and connect over their latest finds.

Evan Heins

Groomsman

Evan and John became friends during Junior year of high school (2011 - 2012) in their AP Java class that met every morning before school. Computer coding was not something that came easy to John, as he frequently needed Evan's help to learn new topics. When the pair attended Clemson University and lived together off campus after their freshman year, John was able to return the favor by teaching Evan how to cook more than just Hamburger Helper and instant ramen noodles.

Sarah Newton

Bridesmaid

Sarah is the soon to be sister-in-law! When Anne first met the family, Anne and Sarah immediately connected. They liked the same movies and TV shows and most importantly, were both cat people. Sarah was slightly concerned when Anne brought the family a green cake for the holidays, but like a great sister, she ate it anyway (and found out that she actually liked it!)..still what a great leap of faith! Sarah has become the best auntie to Anne and John's kitty, Sir Purr, and loves to show him off on Instagram. You can find Sarah and Anne at brunch testing out the different mimosas!

Danny Geiger

Groomsman

Danny and John met at their first co-op rotation at Draexlmaier during college. Since then, they have lived nearly identical lives: completing the same co-op, taking the same classes at Clemson, participating in the same summer internship at AIG, and working in the same role at the same place after graduating college. After doing almost everything together since 2015, including living together in 3 different apartments, you can certainly expect the close friendship shared between them. John was a groomsman in Danny's wedding in April, 2019.

Kelsey Zeringue

Bridesmaid

Kelsey and John have been good friends since high school, and Anne is so thankful that she has gotten to know her. When Kelsey lived in NYC, Anne had to travel there for work often, and they had so much fun running around the Big Apple and playing pickup volleyball. Now that Kelsey and John Z. are back in the South and are within driving distance, Anne and John meet up with them for camping trips, music festivals, shopping trips, and just hang out weekends where they all hang out by the pool and have game nights. They both obsess over their cats and each other's cats (cat people are crazy). Kelsey and Anne feel like they have known each other forever and can spend hours talking over Kelsey's delicious rum punch and margaritas!

John Zeringue

Groomsman

The duo that was referred to as "the Johns" back in high school, John Zeringue met John Newton during band but gym class is where this friendship truly began. Countless hours spent in marching band, symphonic band, and jazz band is where these 2 got to know each other. After always hanging out, being commonly seen together, and having similar hair styles at the time, "the Johns" got their generic label. Although going to colleges on different ends of South Carolina, and John Zeringue's stint of living in NYC, the pair have been able to maintain a friendship as strong as the days of sitting next to each other and cutting up in the band room. John Newton was a groomsman in John Zeringue's wedding in July, 2017
