Our neighborhood in Nashville, you can go to Hopdoddy and Jeni's for burgers and ice cream followed by a movie at the Belcourt for a classic Maddie-Pat date night. Barista Parlor (Maddie's favorite) and Fido (Pat's favorite) have excellent coffee. Lots of murals.
We go here many a Saturday for the Food Company Salad and fruit tea. Walking distance to the hotel blocks and around the corner from a TJ Killian Favorite, the Little Gourmand.
Located in the heart of downtown. It's also nearby the Ryman Auditorium, Frist Art Museum, Country Music Hall of Fame, and Hatch Show Print. *Highly recommended to avoid on Saturday when the Music City Bowl will be downtown.*
Located in Bicentennial Mall and next to the Nashville Farmer's Market and Germantown neighborhood. Germantown has excellent restaurants like City House, bars like Mother's Ruin, and the original Jack Brown's for burgers. *Close to downtown, maybe avoid on Saturday.*
Home to our favorite Frothy Monkey, Streetcar Taps and Garden, 51st Taproom, and ABLE (shopping), the Nations is a great spot to grab lunch or a beer during the day.
Right next to the Nations, you can take a walk around the Greenway and grab a bagel at Star Bagel (a Pat favorite) after.
The 12th South neighborhood has coffee (Hearts and Frothy Monkey), shopping (Reese Witherspoon's Draper James), restaurants (Mafiaoza's and Burger Up), bars (12S Taproom), and Fahrenheit Yoga Studio if you need a Bikram class. Lots of murals (and the accompanying bachelorette parties).
Right off Music Row, the Edgehill neighborhood has our favorites Osa Coffee and Egghill (breakfast sandwiches) along with shops and easy access to Vanderbilt's Peabody campus. Old Glory and Barcelona are great for cocktails and dinner.
Across the river, East is full of restaurants and shops we love to take out-of-towners. You can go by Redheaded Stranger for breakfast tacos, Gift Horse for stationary and fun gifts, or fancy drinks and pizza at Urban Cowboy Public House. Shelby Bottoms is a beautiful park with miles of greenway.
