It is black-tie optional, but your presence is more important than your attire. Please wear what you feel good in. It is a day of celebration!
UPDATE: Beginning March 1st, negative test or vaccination cards will NO LONGER be required to dine in King county! Yay! ———- This one is a little tricky. Washington has different rules in different counties, and we happen to be right on the border of two. Our homes and the hotels are in King county, so we anticipate the restaurants you will visit, outside of the wedding, will also be in King county. King county is requiring proof of a negative test within 72 hours or a copy of your vaccination card to dine in restaurants. Where the wedding will be is in Snohomish county. A negative test or vaccination card will NOT be required for ceremony or reception.
It is not required to get tested, but if you would like to we recommend making an appointment here for a drive-through rapid COVID test. Due to the high demand, plan for about 30 minutes to an hour. You will then get the results the same day (often within an hour). With your negative test, you shouldn't have any issues around town. https://gslabstesting.com/covid-rapid-testing-bellevue/ *If you plan to stay on the Seattle side of the water, there are some businesses that have chosen to only serve those with a vaccination card, and a negative test will not be enough. We recommend calling in advance to avoid any headache upon arrival.
UPDATE: The Washington mask mandate will end March 21st! ------- Masks are required in the airport and on the plane. Washington is requiring masks in indoor spaces. You will need to wear a mask in the hotel, stores, restaurants, etc. However, the wedding is considered a private event and thus up to our discretion. We will NOT be requiring masks during the ceremony or reception, but we encourage all to do what makes them comfortable.
