Is there a dress code? / ¿Hay código de vestimenta?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! The dress code is formal attire. We invite our guests to wear floor-length dresses, pantsuits, or suits. We also ask that white outfits are not worn, including floral dresses that are mostly white. ¡Nos encantaría que nuestros familiares y amigos se vistieran de fiesta con nosotros! El código de vestimenta es formal. Invitamos a nuestros invitados a llevar vestidos largos o traje. Answer

Due to limited numbers we are only able to accommodate those formally invited. If you have a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding! We are happy to accommodate any dietary needs. We ask that you please let us know what your dietary restrictions are at the time of your RSVP. Estaremos encantados de atender cualquier necesidad dietética. Por favor, infórmanos sobre tus restricciones alimentarias al confirmar tu asistencia.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony? / ¿Hay transporte de ida y vuelta desde los hoteles y Vitoria a la ceremonia?

Answer

Yes, there will be buses to bring guests from Vitoria and Bilbao to the venue. For those guests coming from Vitoria, the bus will leave from the courthouse at 1:00pm. For guests staying in Bilbao, the bus will leave from Hotel Barcelo at 1:30pm. There will also be two evening buses (11:30pm and 1:30am) to take guests back to Hotel Barcelo in Bilbao, as well as one bus at 1:30 am to take guests back to Vitoria. Please confirm whether you will need transportation when you RSVP. Sí, habrá autobuses para trasladar a los invitados desde Vitoria y Bilbao hasta el lugar del evento. Para quienes vengan desde Vitoria, el autobús saldrá desde los Juzgados a las 13:00 h. Para los invitados alojados en Bilbao, el autobús saldrá del Hotel Barceló a las 13:30 h. Yes, there will be a welcome event in Bilbao on Friday evening for the invitees visiting from out of town. Please see the schedule for more details! Is the wedding outdoors? / ¿La boda es al aire libre?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be hosted outdoors, while the reception will be held indoors. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony and cocktail will also be held indoors. Si el tiempo lo permite, la ceremonia y el cóctel se celebrarán al aire libre, mientras que la recepción tendrá lugar en el interior. Answer

August in Bilbao is typically warm, around 80 degrees Fahrenheit during the day with evening temperatures in the 60s. However, the venue is in the mountains outside of Bilbao, so temperatures may be a bit cooler. El mes de agosto en Bilbao suele ser cálido, con temperaturas diurnas de unos 27 °C (80 °F) y temperaturas nocturnas que rondan los 15-20 °C (en el rango de los 60 °F). We have room blocks at 3 hotels in Bilbao (Barceló Bilbao Nervión, Hotel Hesperia Bilbao, and BYPILLOW Bilbo). Please see the Travel page for more information.
