✨ Like all sensational love stories, ours began…drunk at a bar. ✨ It was almost Halloween when Kaela stormed into Oz’s favorite neighborhood bar, whiskers painted and tail in tow. That’s the night Oz met Kitty—and somehow, the universe hasn’t stopped laughing or celebrating since. Over the past eight years, we’ve built a life we love in Solana Beach, where our 23-pound feline overlord, Frodo, graciously allows us to live in his home. Together, we’ve embraced the chaos, the magic, and the moments in between. Life together has been nothing short of an adventure. We’ve danced under sun and stars at an astronomical amount of live shows—including 13 of ODESZA’s last tour. We’ve Jumbotron-ed at Padres games and been horizontal for popcorn-fueled movie nights (bonus points for a solid franchise—looking at you, Lord of the Rings, F&F, Harry Potter). We’ve devoured dumplings, crab legs, and late-night In-N-Out like true professionals. We love a good theme party — the wigs, the glitter, the mayhem. And at a combined height of 12½ feet, let’s just say we really stand out in a crowd. We’ve traveled the world and explored life’s greatest questions at 2 a.m.—like space, the universe, and whether Frodo is actually a small bear. Our love has had many names — Poo and Scoo, the Goddess and the Goon, HP and PB, Brat and Twat, Mule and Nag, Kitty and Ozzington. Whatever we’ve called each other, it’s always been with love (and a little bit of effervescence). Oz proposed to Kaela 92 stories up in the New York City sky, where shaky hands and teary eyes made way for one steady promise: forever. The Summit at One Vanderbilt held our secret until the cosmos could no longer contain it. Over the years, we’ve become the version of ourselves that says yes — to the moment, to the leap, to each other. Time and time again. We cannot wait to celebrate that love — our love — surrounded by the people who mean everything to us.
