3:00 pm
We kindly ask guests to arrive strictly on time for the Nikkah ceremony. We invite you to stay and celebrate with us — dinner will be served outdoors following the ceremony. Ladies are encouraged to wear block heels, wedges or flats.
Our Nikkah is a religious ceremony, so we kindly ask guests to dress in modest, formal attire. Ladies are required to wear a headscarf during the ceremony. Traditional South Asian or cultural outfits are welcome but not required. What is a Nikkah? The Nikkah ceremony is a traditional Islamic marriage ceremony. During the ceremony, the couple and witnesses sign a marriage contract, and blessings and prayers are recited. It is a short but meaningful event that marks the official union of the couple.
3:00 pm - 11:45 pm
For our reception, we kindly encourage guests to wear traditional formal South Asian attire, though it is not required. The celebration will take place both indoors and outdoors, so we recommend dressing accordingly to the weather. Temperatures can cool down after sunset, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl for the evening.
As portions of the venue include grass surfaces, we encourage ladies to wear block heels, wedges, or flats for comfort and safety. We have a lot of fun planned throughout the event from cocktail hour to festivities throughout the night and encourage guests to arrive on time so you don’t miss anything!
