My name is Emmanuel, and I’m from El Paso, Texas. Kraker and I met on the first day of basic training and together later in Ranger Regiment. We’ve been through a lot together over the years, from training to late nights out in Columbus and everything in between. I’m honored to stand by his side on such an important day, just like he did on mine. And, for the record, he still hasn’t managed to drink me under the table.

He’s always been someone I looked up to: steady, supportive, and somehow always good at absolutely everything. Krakar and I met in the bathroom of Davis Barracks, aka Krakar Kuts Barbershop, while attending West Point. Together we enjoy traveling, skiing, and debating any topic. Krakar and I famously toured the southeastern United States in the rock band, “Walt and the Weapons”. Krakar one day hopes to end my 9-0 victory streak in Scrabble.

I’ve had the joy of being friends with Jillian since freshman year of high school, so getting to celebrate this special day means the world to me. I live in Cincinnati, Ohio, with my husband, and spend my time riding horses, working on a needlepoint project, or curled up with a good book. I’m so grateful to have a friendship that has lasted through so many seasons of life, and I couldn’t be happier to be here celebrating this amazing couple.

I’m Whitney, and I blame Jill for everything that’s wonderful and good in my life. Let me explain. We met at Lululemon in 2017. She told me she had corgis, and I immediately made her promise to give me one if they ever had puppies. So, in April 2020, we took Millie home while the world shut down for Covid. Millie quickly became the light of our life, and we decided that if we could love a dog as much as we did, we could absolutely handle loving a tiny human. We found out that we were expecting our son 3 months later, and Aunt Jill is officially his godmother verbally, metaphysically, and legally. We love Jill, and are so excited to have Uncle Taylor join the party!

Krakar and I have been best friends since 2016. We were in the same company at West Point. We were roommates at the Academy, teammates on the spirit band, and travel partners around the world. I’m incredibly excited to see Taylor and Jill begin this new chapter together.

Krakar and I have been friends since our plebe year at West Point. From backpacking Europe to watching football, he has a talent for turning ordinary moments into unforgettable stories. I’ve proudly served as one of his spiritual, professional, and life mentors, though the results have been mixed. His visual prowess and tactical expertise somehow continue to keep him out of trouble. As Jill assumes command authority, I’m excited to celebrate the beginning of their next adventure together.

I became friends with Krakar while we served together in the Army, and from day one he’s always been able to bring comedic relief to even the most serious situations. He’s one of the funniest people I know, and many of my favorite Army stories include him. Krakar was recently in groomsman in my wedding, and I am happy that he also found someone to share his life with.

I’m me of course and Jill was divinely placed in my life through law school, but really though a Bobbitt house party turned immediate need for friendship. We share the same passions for using the law to uplift people, winding down with a glass of wine and some (usually bad) reality TV, and dogs with long bodies and tiny little legs. It was an instant forever friendship. ❤️

During our early years at West Point, we were both simply young men trying to find our footing, carving out our paths in a world that demanded everything from us. Watching him grow from a determined young cadet into the exceptional leader he is today has been a profound privilege. He has truly acquired the strength to shape his own destiny. They say foresight is the ultimate weapon of a commander. Yet, even with my own prescience, the ability to look down the shifting timelines and anticipate the paths before us, nothing could have prepared me for his greatest tactical masterpiece. He did not need a mentor to navigate his heart. In bringing someone as truly remarkable as Jill into his life, he altered the calculus of his universe entirely. My foresight helped forge his path on the battlefield, but it is Jill who brings the ultimate balance and peace to his reality. I am immensely proud of the man he has become, and content to watch their story unfold. "A beginning is the time for taking the most delicate care that the balances are correct."

I met Jill through my boyfriend and her now-fiancé, who have been longtime friends, and we instantly clicked! Jill is one of the kindest and most selfless people I know, and I am so excited to stand by her side on such a special day. Krakar, you’re cool too I guess.. 🤣 In my free time, I enjoy hiking, playing pickleball, and spending time with my family.

Krakar and I have been friends since our first year together at West Point, and we’ve shared plenty of memorable moments since then. I even served as his first attorney, but thankfully he upgraded and married a real lawyer this time around. Years later, I had the honor of commissioning him as a Second Lieutenant, which was a pretty surreal full-circle moment for both of us. I’ve also spent the last few years trying to teach him how to lift, with very limited success
