Maid of Honor
Avery is my one and only sister. She's been there for and seen everything that's gone on in my life. High school graduation, going off to and graduating from college, starting my career, and now starting married life, she's been there for it all in a way very few people are. There is nothing like the bond two sisters share and I'm so thankful that Avery is a part of my life. There was absolutely no question at all as to whether she'd be my maid of honor. The second Michael proposed I knew that Avery would be standing right behind me and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Bridesmaid
Heather and I have been best friends since the 8th grade! We spent our high school years in the clarinet section of the Woodlands College Park Cavalier Marching Band and running through the woods behind our childhood homes. We became long distance besties in college since she went to the University of Houston and I went to Texas Tech. Now that we're both degreed ladies and live on the same side of the state, we get to see each other so much more! Heather has been through it all with me and I couldn't imagine getting married without her by my side.
Bridesmaid
Maria and I met after she became my Little Sister in Tau Beta Sigma. TBS is a national music service sorority and was actually founded at Texas Tech! On top of being my Little, Maria was also elected to be Assistant Uniform Chair for the Goin' Band from Raiderland while I served as Head. We then spent the next year bonding over the struggles of managing 500+ marching band uniforms while also being a full time student. I don't think I could've gotten through engineering school without her constant positivity and support. She has been such a joy in my life and there was no way I'd get married without her standing by me!
Best Man
Joel and I met we played baritone in Goin’ Band. We were both in the music fraternity Kappa Kappa Psi, and Joel was one of the most down-to-earth people that I bonded with in that organization. Even though he currently lives across the country, Joel was the first person I thought of to be my best man.
Groomsman
I met James through engineering school and we became friends during long study sessions. These days, we still enjoy talking about projects and ways we could over-engineer them. He’s one of my most passionate friends and I couldn’t imagine him anywhere in my wedding other than standing by me as a groomsman.
Groomsman
I met Bernardo in engineering school at Tech. Since then we all tried to take the same classes when possible. Now that we’re out of college, I’m glad that we’re both within the Dallas area and it doesn’t take much convincing to hang out during the weekend.
