COVID-19 Update

Due to the extension of the safer at home orders until May 15th, unfortunately we have to postpone our wedding. We are currently trying to set a new date and will keep you updated with our final plans. We wish you health and safety during this difficult time. We look forward to celebrating with you in the future!

How We Met

2013

The first time I met Stephanie, I was at work. My coworker introduced me to her while she was crossing the street. I instantly thought she was gorgeous and asked my coworker to set up a date. The problem was my coworker said Stephanie was not interested. That did not stop me from adding her on social media and leaving cronuts on her doorstep while I was patrolling her neighborhood at night. My persistence paid off. We realized we both loved to watch Breaking Bad and I told her I didn’t have cable. She invited me over to watch it and well, the rest is history.

The Proposal

June 4, 2018 - Les Fous de L'Ile

After my first medical board exam we jetted off to France. I was so oblivious to the upcoming proposal that I did not realize they pulled out the ring at airport security while searching Steve's luggage. One morning Steve brought up the idea of running 3 miles to the Eiffel Tower. This was the last thing on my mind while on vacation... He kept begging and I reluctantly agreed. We made our way down to the river Seine to run along the water. With the large cobblestone walkway and drizzling rain, I was ready to call it quits about half way to our destination. Steve insisted we continue. We finally arrived at the Eiffel Tower only to find the entrance to the park was closed due to construction and the new entrance was 1 mile back in the direction we came. And that was the end of Steve's original idea to propose under the Eiffel Tower. The next day we went to lunch at a small restaurant behind the Notre Dame Cathedral. It was a late lunch so we pretty much had the front of the restaurant to ourselves. At the end of the meal Steve popped the question and I was so shocked, I don't even remember my response. We were lucky enough to be able to celebrate our engagement eating lots of pastries and drinking lots of wine while exploring Paris.
