What is the venue like?

Answer

The venue is mostly outdoors and the terrain is grassy with rocks in some areas, so ladies your shoes will probably get a little dirty but the view is worth it.

What can I expect from the weather?

Answer

It will be December which could mean a nice mild day or a cold one. We highly suggest watching the weather the week of. However, we have a plan for inclement weather and we will have heaters and fire pits running as well as cover in case of rain.

Is there free parking?

Answer

Yes! We will have designated parking on the far side of the property away from the barn. Just follow the signs.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly request formal attire, with a preference for black. However, shades of beige or similar tones are also welcome if you prefer. Gentlemen, suits are not required. We know this may seem like an unusual request, but as many of you know, the bride is the marketing coordinator for the venue, and the photos will play a special role in its story. Your effort means the world to us, and we are truly grateful for your support in making this day even more beautiful!

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

The address is 170 Dillon Rd, Hilton Head Island, SC. Either Google or Apple Maps should work with no problem. Physical instructions coming from 95 are as follows: 1) Head east on US 278 and continue straight to stay on 278 for 6.4 miles. 2) Continue straight to stay on 278 for 14 miles. 3) Keep right to continue on 278 BUS E - follow signs for William Hilton PKWY and continue for 2.1 miles. 4) use the left 2 lanes to turn onto Beach City Road. 5) Continue to the traffic circle and take the second exit to stay on Beach City Road. 6) Turn Right onto Dillon Road. 7) You will see a sign for Mitchelville Place. Continue down dirty road and follow signs for parking.

Are kids invited?

Answer

Kids are invited. However, keep in mind this is an outdoor venue with open areas of water and those areas will be dark at night and critters lurk in some of these areas so please plan accordingly and try to leave young ones at home if they are not in the wedding.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

No. There will be a basic bar with wine, beer, Prosecco, and signature His & Hers drinks.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4:00, and we ask that arrive around 3:30.
