Once upon a time

Well.. actually it started with Jason cutting me in line- the only natural thing to do at that point is to buy your crush a drink, right? We were at a military ball and I had been standing in line for what seemed like an eternity (I am slightly dramatic), Jason waltz'd right by and was helped almost instantly. He joked with me and offered to buy me a drink but I had to give him a reason to come find me later on, so I bought his. From there we spent the next month hiking, finding Geocahes in Fairbanks, and a weekend in Anchorage for a Music Festival. By the end of the month we were smitten, but as the Army would have it- Jason left for a 9 month rotation to Korea. So, a drink, 9 bouquets of flowers, about 1000 FaceTime hours, and Christmas trip in Korea, started the foundation to our relationship. Now, 3 years later, we are promising to love each other for the rest of our lives... again, because 2020.
