We have a strong Lyft and Uber presence in Detroit, or if you'd rather, ask the hotel concierge for some cab company recommendations.

Yes! Detroit is safe, friendly, welcoming and wonderful. That being said, it is still a big city, so do not leave things in your car!

How do we get around the city?

Answer

If you don't feel like walking, there is the Q Line, which goes from downtown to Midtown, and there are also Mogo Bikes available to rent throughout the city (pro tip: rent a bike and ride it along the river!).

What should I wear?

Semi-formal/Cocktail Attire - anything from summer dresses, dress shirt and dress pants, to cocktail dresses, suits and jumpsuits...we encourage you to wear what you're most comfortable wearing, and don't forget that August in Detroit can be very hot!
