Our first date was on a Wednesday afternoon at West Oak Coffee, where Nicole took a short break during her workday to meet up with William. We each left not quite knowing what the other thought of us, but hoping we would meet again. Several days later, we met for a second date at Seven Mile Café where Nicole got her usual brunch order- bacon, eggs, chocolate chip pancakes, fruit, and a vanilla latte. William ordered a yogurt. While our brunch appetites didn't match, our personalities did and we soon were spending as much time with each other as we could manage.
