Answer

Simply put- we didn't want to! We enjoy traveling to new places, trying new things and most of all saving money! We would much rather get to enjoy a weekend getaway with family & friends then just 1 day with you. We understand how much our family and closest friends wanted to witness our marriage. For us it is a meaningful & private experience that we are choosing to do as a couple only. We love you all and hope you can understand and respect our decision.

Answer

As much as we are so happy some of our family and friends were able to make it out to celebrate with us, please do not feel obligated to spend all of your time with us! We want everyone to enjoy their weekends away from work, school and your daily life stressors and just enjoy the beautiful city of Portland!

We have scheduled a 2 hour cocktail event on 04/19/2025 at 5:00pm. (please refer to the schedule tab for more info.)Outside of this event we would like everyone to enjoy themselves as we will be exploring the city, trying new restaurants & enjoying the nightlife downtown Portland has to offer!

Is there a dress code for the weekend?Is there a dress code for the weekend?

Answer

The only event that requires a dress code is the cocktail event on 04/19/2025 at 5pm. (please refer to the schedule tab for more info.) We are not requiring any special dress code for the rest of the weekend. Keep in mind Oregon is a little chilly this time of year with the average high being 60-65 degrees.
