We're getting married!

From the very beginning, this relationship was built on a strong foundation: iced capps made with chocolate milk from Tim Hortons. Zoe and Owen met in high school and officially started dating in 2019 during Grade 12 after discovering they shared impeccable taste in frozen coffee beverages. What started as one Tim’s date quickly turned into hanging out constantly, until eventually someone had the groundbreaking realization: “Wait… are we boyfriend and girlfriend?” Not long after, the world shut down for the COVID-19 pandemic - which honestly felt like a pretty aggressive test for a new relationship. Somehow, through lockdowns, quarantines, isolation, online classes, and an unhealthy amount of screen time, they survived. The two then both attended University of Waterloo, where Owen played varsity rugby and Zoe was on the varsity cheer team - making them one of the university’s athletic power couples. During university, they also decided to truly test the strength of their relationship by becoming coworkers for two co-op terms. HR was aware. In 2024, they packed up their lives and moved across the country to Calgary to pursue two great passions: consumer packaged goods and snowboarding. They quickly fell in love with the mountains and now consider annual trips to the Rockies a non-negotiable. Since then, they’ve continued collecting adventures together, including hiking Angels Landing, conquering the Sea to Summit Trail in Squamish, exploring Levada dos 25 Fontes in Madeira, and snowboarding at Big White Ski Resort and SilverStar Mountain Resort. In January 2026, Zoe and Owen moved out together, and after 6.5 years of dating, Owen proposed in May 2026. Zoe said yes immediately! Then came another exciting twist: they managed to snag a cancellation date at Elora Mill Hotel & Spa for October 2026. Slightly unfortunate for the other couple, but incredibly convenient for everyone reading this story. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of our favourite people on October 2, 2026 - and thank you for being part of the start of our next adventure!
